2023 Petite Rose

Rose can take many forms, and if you’re seeking a delicate and – dare I say petit? – rose, this may strike a chord. In the glass the wine is pale salmon in color with aromatics of white roses, lilies, cotton candy, and orange blossom water. Given some time in the glass, the wine rounds to notes of white plums, raspberry cream, and creamsicle - nostalgic of the perfect summer day. While few wines should stand alone (food loves wine and vice versa), the softness of the palate and the ease of the wine make it a great compliment to your favorite summer afternoon patio. Given that, I would love this with a fresh mint and strawberry salad, shrimp cocktail, or tea sandwiches.
